Hi my name is Tzirel Kaufman and I’ve always had a special love for drawing portraits. My school notebooks were covered in doodles but mostly of peoples faces! Many years of art lessons as a girl (5 teachers!!) plus a full year of art study in seminary gave me plenty of time and opportunity to develop my talents. From the age of 17 I started teaching art lessons to girls and it just flowed naturally
Currently I run portraiture lessons for girls, teens and women in Ashdod and look forward to branching out to more cities in Israel. We work with graphite and colour pencils, and hope to branch out to charcoal pastel and paints soon.
I am available to take commissions for portraits and am able to be flexible and work together to create that beautiful picture you are dreaming of. My ultimate goal is to draw a lifelike portrait that gives over the sparkle and warmth of their personality in an awe inspiring way. Having a portrait of a grandparent, rav or child in your home is a beautiful way of connecting to the soul of that person and to the unique preciousness of who they were or are.
